Manson speaks on Slipknot...

"I like Slipknot a lot. I think that they have their own thing I think it's maybe an understandable but somewhat unfair comparison because I think they're so different from us, and I like them a lot. Im going to do something with Slipknot, and in fact they're doing a remix of 'The Fight Song' for me. And um, I like them because they're completely nihilistic and they just don't care about anything...its good."

Shawn adds more comments about the future!

"We're evolving, we're taking it to the next level. We're going to keep you guessing forever until we're done."

Crahan also adds that the band is going back into the studio next month with Ross, and the songs will be "Faster, heavier, and against the grain!"

He hopes that the band can have the album finished by March, and that they're looking much farther past 2001.

"We already have the fourth album written in our heads, there's nothing that we're not going to do."

Shawn adds his comments on Slipknot's Grammy nomination!

''To be nominated, it's unbelievable, it's unbelievable that the kids are getting the recognition. Because really, if you think about it, they're really the ones blowing Slipknot down everyone. The kids, the maggots, are the ones telling their parents, 'Hey, I've finally got something that's helping me through the day...' It's the kids who request us on MTV... who won't play us... and it's the kids who got us into the Grammy's, into their heads. To think that anyone involved in anything as big as the Grammy's took the time to spell out the word 'Slipknot' is an extreme honor for me and the band, we have known the work that we've put forth to this world, and we're very, very intense about what we do. Being nominated for best performance is an extreme honor, because that's the way we live our lives--190 percent. For the industry to recognize that and to say our name and actually give us the nomination makes each one of us in the band feel like what we're doing is making a change, and that's what we set out to do from the very beginning.''

Corey is working hard on his solo project. Right now it is being dubbed Project X, and is rumored to include Slipknot members and ex-lead singer Anders, who left the group after MFKR. Here's what Corey had to say about the project.

''It's basically me and a friend of mine that I've been working with for 12 years, it's more hard rock than metal.''

Here is what Corey has to say about Slipknot's Grammy nomination!

"In the 5th century BC, there was a Samurai warrior who had an interesting way of celebrating his birthday. Every year, he had what he called his 'Resurrection Day', where he would give himself a new name, possibly to become another person. He did this every year, taking a new name and living his life as if that would be the last year he was alive, which in theory was correct.

"The parable here is that you never know what is going to happen as your life goes on. This year, Slipknot is nominated for a Grammy, which I consider a great honor. But you never know what's gonna happen next year. My heart is thrilled that we've even been considered for this. And at the same time, my brain tells me to be happy, but never, EVER be content. For content is the death of dreams. And we've got a lot of dreaming left in us."

"I don't know much about Slipknot, apart from the fact they hate Limp Bizkit. So they're okay with me. Let's keep the faith."
